Polymer Research Group

Dra. Judith Percino Zacarías

I studied Chemistry at the Universidad Autónoma de Puebla, Mexico. I then continued at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Mexico, in Inorganic Chemistry and completed my PhD in 1991 in Main Group Chemistry under the guidance of Dr. Edil Ergozhin.

My research has been focused on polymerization process, syntheses of functional monomers, as well as the design and crystal engineering of organic compounds to study photoluminescence, conductivity, supramolecular chemistry, etc. Currently, I lecture on topics of physical chemistry, inorganic and organic chemistry and polymer chemistry. I am interested in various aspects of physical chemistry, including calculation computational.
